Description The Intellifaucet E375 is a fully automatic hot and cold water mixing valve which is convenient to use, economical, accurate, and reliable. The E375 is similar to the Intellifaucet D375. The E375 has a general purpose temperature range including all hot and all cold settings, making it suitable for a wide variety of uses including adding tempered water to bread, pretzel, pastry and pizza doughs, and the bathing of horses, show dogs and other temperature sensitive animals. Convenient. Unlike thermostatic mixing valves, the Intellifaucet is fully automatic. Simply set the water temperature to one of the 13 preset temperatures. The rotary knob clicks at each setting. The water reaches the set temperature within seconds and stays there regardless of pressure or temperature fluctuations in the hot and cold water supplies. There is no need to constantly monitor and adjust the temperature setting. Economical. The "E" Series cost about the same as quality thermostatic mixing valves. This low cost has been achieved by simplifying the electronics, using fewer parts, manufacturing in higher-volumes, and using state-of-the-art computer-controlled production machinery. The Intellifaucet does not need expensive annual or semi-annual rebuilding. Accurate. The Intellifaucet will keep the water temperature within ±0.5 °F of the setting unless there is a severe upset in the supplies. Water temperature is checked 60 times per second by a fast response temperature sensor. The built-in microprocessor performs calculations and repositions the hot and cold water valves 10 times per second to keep the output water temperature constant. Each Intellifaucet is tested and calibrated to ±0.2 °F at two widely separated temperatures. Reference thermometers are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Reliable. Intellifaucets have been keeping water temperature constant since 1987. The Intellifaucet is built from solid brass, stainless steel, aluminum, engineered plastics and high-quality semiconductors. Quality construction features include: heavy gauge stainless steel cover; oversized motor driver power transistors; double buffered microprocessor outputs; overvoltage protection circuitry; heavy-duty stainless steel wall bracket; glass-filled teflon valve seals; and teflon bearings for smooth valve operation. Precision regulating valves feature a simple, rugged, maintenance-free design. The valves and seals exceed 3 million cycles without failure.
