Description The patented Intellifaucet RK250SS uses advanced technology to solve an age-old problem - the accurate control of water temperature. Each element of the Intellifaucet is optimized to achieve outstanding water temperature control. The high-speed microcomputer repositions two motor driven valves 60 times every second to achieve a level of temperature control not previously possible. Water temperature remains constant even during pressure and temperature fluctuations in the hot and cold water supplies. The built-in remote control interface capability allows a computer, a PLC or an electronic process controller to adjust the Intellifaucet setpoint temperature via a 4-20 mA signal, and to start and stop the flow of water. A remote/local switch on the Intellifaucet enclosure allows user to select local temperature setting or remote temperature setting. See the Intellifaucet Owners Manual for more information. The Intellifaucet is made from stainless steel, aluminum, engineered plastics and high-quality semiconductors. Quality construction features include: heavy gauge stainless steel cover; chemical-proof membrane keypad bonded to a 1/4 inch thick machined aluminum backing plate; oversized motor driver power transistors; double buffered microprocessor outputs; over voltage protection circuitry; heavy-duty aluminum wall bracket; glass-filled teflon valve seals; and teflon bearings for smooth valve operation. Exact temperatures are easily set by pressing buttons on the keypad. Units can be selected in either the Fahrenheit or Celsius scales. Each Intellifaucet is tested and calibrated to +/- 0.1 F at two widely separated temperatures. Reference thermometers are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Precision regulating valves feature a rugged, maintenance-free design. The valves and seals exceed 3 million cycles without failure. Even under heavy use, Intellifaucets operate for years without maintenance. The Intellifaucet has been in production since 1987 and has established a reputation for quality and durability unmatched in the mixing valve industry. Each Intellifaucet RK250SS comes complete with an AC power adaptor, Amphenol cable connector, clamp and boot to match Amphenol connector on the Intellifaucet, wall bracket, mounting hardware and owners manual.
